Winter is coming up too fast. This is a great thing for kids to do when stuck inside! I have also done it for Halloween parties.
Supplies:
water
Steps:
Mix the borax with one cup of water. Now you have to stir until it is all dissolved.
In another bowl, mix 4 ounces of glue (1/2 cup) with 1/2 cup water. Add food coloring, mix it well.
Then mix the 2 bowls together. Mix with a spoon then use your hands. It is fine if there is a little bit of colored water left in the bowl. Just dump it out.
Now you have slime, or Flubber if they watched that movie recently! Keep in a zip lock bag in refrigerator.
Source: Can not remember. I have been doing this for years!

I have a class experiment about how to make borax slime. Does anyone know how to make this?

The recipe for it above is easy and makes a perfect slime! We substituted the glow in the dark paint for some iron oxide powder and was able to make a "magnetic" slime. (It is attracted to strong magnets like neodymium magnets.) It works just as well with the iron oxide powder and will not stain once it is incorporated into the mixture.
The perfect Halloween craft for kids, glow-in-the-dark slime! Also makes a great Halloween party favor for kids. Free gift tag printable.
