Robin and her offspring in their nest in our lilac tree. Such a beautiful site to see and I had to show you!
Robins follow me all day long. If I'm digging, they know I'll unearth worms. If I'm watering inground plants, they know the water will bring worms to the surface. With so many Robins around, one would think I had lots of opportunity to take some great shots. That's not the case.
This baby robin came up to our storm door and walked around in front of our cat that was inside the house for about 15 minutes. After lots of squawking from the mama bird flying around over head, the baby went and laid under a bush.
A robin built a nest in a little tree right outside my window. There was a total of three hatchlings, but this one seemed the most demanding!
This fledgling robin is all tuckered out after hopping around my backyard. He perched on a fence rail and took a nap while I snapped away with my camera just inches from him.
This little fellow was too young to be afraid. I was parked beside the brush, when this young robin flew in and landed next to me. It didn't frighten him when I reached over to get my camera, turn it on and focus.
My passion is taking photos in our back yard of the birds, wildlife, the ducks we raised for our pond, flowers, and nature scenery. I had the opportunity to visit Tyler, TX, on April 1, 2011.
I was just outside playing around with my camera trying to catch a bird flying, but then I saw this red breasted robin on a limb, and he looked right at me. I think it is so cool.
This beautiful robin has adopted us for the breeding season and he and his hen have raised a brood just yards from our back door. We have robins in the garden every winter, and some become tame enough to eat from a dish in my wife's hand.
I was sitting at my kitchen table on May 18th and happened to look up and see this beautiful robin sitting outside on the lawn chairs. Fortunately, I had time to grab my digital camera, which was right on the table, and get this picture right before he flew away.
My wonderful husband and I always search for the first "Robin"of Spring. This year is the first year I spotted it, I got lucky ! If you look close in the tree you will see it.
