This is a delicious and easy salsa that is a change-of-pace from the usual. It tastes like freshness on a fork! You can change it up a little too. Use pineapple instead of mango. Add more/less/no hot peppers. Use lemon instead of lime. Serve it whenever you'd serve tomato-based salsa, but it goes really well with poultry and pork.
Chop the mango and avocado into about 1/2 inch pieces. I chop the tomato just a bit smaller.
If the lime doesn't give you at least 1 1/2 tbsp. of juice, use another, but use the zest from just one lime.
Use the white part of the green onion if you like more onion flavor, and more crunch. Use just the green part if you like less onion taste, more color.
Gently mix it all together so that the lime juice coats everything and keeps it from turning brown.
Cover and chill for a few hours so that flavors mingle. Stir before serving. Enjoy.
