uses for cooking oilThe next best thing to WD40 is baking spray. I have used it on hinges, squeaky cabinets, and so many other things. I got my key stuck in the lock at work and I sprayed butter baking spray in the lock and it came out just as slick as a slimy snake. So if you are in need of WD40 and don't have it, try your baking spray. You'd be surprised at what it can handle.

Creaky doors bug the life out of me. I absolutely hate to hear them. If I have run out of WD40, I get my pan spray and spray a bit in the hinges and the problem is gone.
