I don't think you can, they loose cells. Sorry, you may have to buy a new one.

Old rechargable batteries can sometimes be saved by repeated discharge - charge cycles.

If not, they are Kaput!

You can get darned good batteries from a place called

Yeah, you should buy a new one. Its not good every time you are using your laptop it turns off because of the battery. It can cause you a lot of trouble. it might harm your laptop. You dont have to worry, there are cheap batteries you can buy with good quality as well. Try here at www.blazintech.net/
They also have special discount on their laptop batteries until Feb. 14.

You can try freezing it there have been many cases where this works I'm actually freezing one right now.
Put the battery in 3 zip lock bags then put it in the freezer on a towal for 13 hours take it out pat it dry then let it warm up to room temp THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT NOT DOING THIS CAN CAUSE THE BATTERY TO EXPLODE then put it in your computer and charge and discharge is for 4 cycles its known to give you battery from none to an hour charge.

Are you referring to the camera that lets other people see you when you are "talking" to them? In any case, computers are different so you will have to find this in your laptop manual.

If you do not have a manual then research it on line. You will just have to have your laptop "name" and model number which is on your laptop. Usually you can find a manual to review on line or maybe print it out to keep for future reference.

You can also just Google your question (include laptop name and model) and maybe find an answer that way.

First - find the name and model number as this is necessary for anyone to be able to really answer your questions.

I am using a lid from a storage container to keep my laptop from overheating. I have found that it works very well. I don't want the ventilation area under the computer to be blocked.

At the end of every day, I pull out the cable from the laptop then try to find somewhere to keep it until the next day. After I put the two self-adhesive-backed hooks next to each other on the left-hand corner of the closed lid, now this simply and safely stores the laptop cable and my glasses.

If your laptop gets too warm you can buy a special cooling pad or get creative and make something yourself to help dissipate the heat. This is a page about keeping your laptop cool.
