French Toast on Blue Checked Table ClothThe cream cheese in this makes it so good! Very good French toast!

Ingredients:

  • 1 (1 lb.) loaf bread
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 8-12 eggs
  • Advertisement

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

Cube bread and put 1/2 in 9x13 inch sprayed baking dish. Cube cream cheese over bread. Place other half of cubed bread over cream cheese. Beat eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon until mixed. Pour over bread and cream cheese. Cover with plastic wrap, refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Serve with syrup or honey.

Servings: 8-12
Prep Time: 15-20 Minutes
Cooking Time: 45 Minutes

Place bread cubes in greased 9x13 inch baking dish. In mixing bowl, beat eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight.

Place margarine in baking dish and melt margarine in microwave. Place brown sugar and cinnamon in another bowl and mix. Sprinkle mixture over melted margarine in baking dish.
