Use wired ribbon to create roses that can be made into pins or used to embellish shoes, picture frames, pillows, hair bands, or whatever you want. The longer the ribbon, the larger the flower.

  2. measured length of ribbon.

  9. Knot one end of the ribbon and begin rolling it up around the knotted end. It sort of begins to roll itself while you are gathering one edge.
  10. Beginning to roll from knotted end.

  11. Add a dab of glue periodically as you roll it up to hold its shape.
  12. Fold the last 2 inches or so of ribbon across the back and glue it in place. This will help hold the rose together.
  13. Pin glued to back of finished rose.

  14. Glue on a pin back, if desired.
  15. Front view of completed ribbon rose.
