Scuffed Vinyl FlooringClean rubber heel marks from kitchen linoleum with a moist cloth dabbed in floor wax. The marks come up and don't leave a dull spot.

I had these hugh black scuff marks appear on my floor,
I freaked out, ticked me off too, How in the world was I gonna get them off, I questioned everyone as to how they appeared there, .

Turned out I was to blame, My stupid shoes were doing it and I didn't realize it,

Anyways,
I don't worry about them anymore,
Amazing what plain old Vinegar and Soda can do, The might of the Twins, I'm a believer in Good ole Soda and Vinegar, (more power YA!)

Back in my AF days, we learned a regular pencil eraser will take up most scuff marks. they'll roll right up.

I use dry paper towels and a little elbow grease. Works great!

To get black marks off floor, put a few drops of eucalyptus oil on a clean cloth and the marks should wipe off with no problems.

To get rid of a scuff mark on a floor, just re-scuff the same mark with your shoe. I don't know why it works, but it does. Weird, but true.

As a custodian, I use a tennis ball attached to a broom handle. A little rub and the black mark is gone.

How can I remove black rubber shoe scuff marks from my kitchen vinyl floor? It's brand new linoleum and I don't want to ruin the finish. Thanks!

I always use toothpaste, just rub it on wait a few seconds and wipe it off.

The same way you get scuffs off nice shoes - nail polish remover.

A friend of mine told me she had watched a maintenance man at an airport walking around with a tennis ball attached to a handle erasing scuff marks from the floor!

We bought a doublewide mobile home years ago and when they put it together tar got on the bedroom carpet. When they came to replace the carpet the man asked if he could try something before removing the carpet. He sprayed with WD-40 and got all signs of the tar up.

(We told them not to remove the carpet, LOL) We have used WD-40 on paint, tar, marks on the floor, all types of things since. I have MY OWN can so I don't have to share with hubby!! Good luck

Depending on the color of your floor, just a plain old pencil eraser, red or white, will usually do the trick.

I always used an SOS pad and LIGHTLY went over
the mark--it came right up!

After trying the rubber eraser and a white rubber shoe (neither of which worked), the nail polish remover worked like a charm!

After installing vinyl plank flooring, there are shiny shoe sole prints that show in the reflection of the new floor. I mopped with warm water and vinegar and it did not make any difference. The instructions repeatedly caution not to use any but the mildest cleaning solutions. Help!

You know those black heel marks on the tile or linoleum? Or those stickers that won't come off with soap and water?

Just spray a little WD-40 or some other kind of oil on them and they will wipe right off.

Use Brillo pads to get rid of scuff marks on linoleum floor. Always works for me. Make sure you are gentle with it. You don't want to scratch your floor.
