For a no mess place to clean your mini-blinds or give a dog a bath, buy a 42 inch kids' wading pool. After washing blinds, hang them over outdoor chairs and rinse with a hose. No mess in the house!

My daughter got black ink on my white window blinds, does anyone have any tips to get it out?
I have removed permanent marker from photos, varnished wooden floors, and linoleum with a product called SolUMel. Another person told me of her success removing green marker from a bedspread with the same. email cartonv2@juno.com
You could always cover it with shoe polish or liquid paper if the blinds are wooden. If they are the vinyl kind, you should be able to remove that slat and take one from the bottom and replace it.
Try using MR. CLEAN MAGIC ERASER PAD. This pads has gotten many stains off my walls, counter top and pots and pans.
Our daughter did the same on fake wood white blinds.
We used Soft Scrub cooktop cleaner and it worked.
Try a product called Ink Away, you can get it at most office supply stores. It works great getting ink out of almost everything. It is a big winner in my house since my kids like Sharpe pens!
What is the best way to clean mini blinds without taking them down?
Hang them in shower and spray them with 409 rinse and let dry
I use 2 items to clean my blinds.
1. Vacuum cleaner with round brush.
2. Swifter dusters
Completely close blinds and clean, reverse the direction of blinds and clean again. This method works best if blinds are cleaned weekly. If you have grease or something other than dust on the blinds, spray a microfiber cloth with Windex, Formula 409 or other cleaner and wipe both sides.
My window blinds (semi-wood) are way too big to take down and using Endust and cleaning between each slat just isn't getting it. Any and all suggestions are welcome!
Thank you.

Endust is the wrong product here -- the blinds probably have a somewhat "greasy" buildup, which the Endust adds to. I mix a mild vinegar/water solution, and just take a rough cloth and clean each slat, then wipe with a soft dry cloth.
