These bars may be sugar-free but they are very sweet using natural sugars. They are a delicious treat that is also good for you.
Bring dates, prunes and raisins and water to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes and remove from stove. Then add margarine and cool. Add dry ingredients to fruit and put in a greased pan. Bake in 9x13 inch pan at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.

Mix with first mixture. Pour into brownie or sheet cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 15 minutes. Watch closely!
Cream butter or margarine and sugar together. Gradually beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift the flour and baking powder and stir into the creamed mixture. Spread evenly in 9x13 inch greased jelly roll pan. Spoon pie filling on top of the first layer in about 12 big mounds.
