Hey just picked up this Brother GX-6750 and this is all new to me. Was hoping someone has the answer for me. When typing, the letters aren't full across the bottom.
I have a Royal Scriptor II electric typewriter I recently bought off of eBay. I noticed the E key wasn't working, and as I tapped it a few more times, it suddenly started spamming 'e' over and over like it was stuck.

I have a Silver Reed Ex 56 typewriter. It is in good shape, except when turned on, the carrier moves noisily all the way to the right. It stops there, sputters loudly, and will not return to the start margin. I've oiled the run bar, and replaced the inked ribbon and correction ribbon. Any ideas? Thanks!

I recently acquired an IBM Selectric II correcting typewriter. I plugged it in and it started up just fine. I type a few words and they were fine then it just began typing all 1s no matter which letter or number I typed.
Any advice?While typing a series of individual forms, I removed one completed form and inserted a blank, but the typewriter would not print a lower case letter e. Instead there is a symbol very similar to quotation marks but slightly lower on the page. I have turned off the typewriter and unplugged it, but the problem continues. Is there any combinations of keys that might have cause this?
I was working on my TA Gabrielle 9009 when all of a sudden, it refused to show the characters anymore, nothing seemed wrong with it as it didn't make any noise and nothing burnt. But still it would give the impression of typing, but wouldn't type anything. I've checked and the ribbon is still remaining. How can I correct this please??

The AT&T 5300 electric typewriter shift-lock lights up and beeps. The machine types one letter, but will not go forward. How do I turn off the shit lock and get the machine to work?
I just bought a Brother Correct-o-Ball XL-I and when I turned it on the dash (-) was being typed on the page rapidly. I think the key may be stuck or there might be something more wrong with the machine, being as I bought it at a thrift store.

I bought a Silver Reed EZ 20 electric typewriter from the 80s. I tested the machine and the only thing that does not work is advancing paper manually and with the auto key. When pressing the return key it does return, but the paper does not advance either. The platen works manually and with auto key, but paper does not advance. There are three smaller rollers (see arrows) behind the platen, they do not seem to roll. I am not sure if they should.
