Every morning, I get on the computer and go through my favorites. This web cam, located in Shanandoah National Park in Virginia, is one my favorites. There is only one view and I don't know how often it takes a picture during the day but I was able to copy and paste this photo on January 14 at noon. I thought the ice and snow on the trees made a beautiful picture and I set it for my desktop background. It was just a cold, rainy day here where we live.
I think when it gets warm, we just might take a trip to this place in May. It will be like going back in time and experiencing early spring again.

While driving along Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park a few weeks ago, I was able to capture this Mother Doe and her Fawn posing together ever so nicely in the woods. I couldn't have planned it any better myself.
While on a long weekend get away to the Skyline Drive, Shenandoah Valley, we encountered this mysterious fog at the top of a mountain peak. The rest of the drive was clear, except right along this particular piece of roadway.
