I am so frustrated. I am looking all over for a place that sells Terra Cotta (clay) pots to make clay people and cannot find them anywhere. These are not the usual size for regular pots for plants, but smaller sizes such as 1 3/4 inch, 1 1/2 inch, 1 1/4 inch, and 5/8 inch. If they sell these darn instruction booklets why do they not sell the pots or a link to find them. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Dollar tree has them in tiny sizes 4 for $1.00 some have holes in the bottom some do not. If you need a hole in them soak the bottoms in water for 2-3 hours then using a masonry drill bit drill through the bottoms to make your own holes.
Also forgot to say Ben Franklin crafts has all those tiny sizes if you have one near you.
Dollar stores, craft stores like hobby lobby, michaels, etc. Orientaltrading.com might be a good start also.
You can usually get them at the craft store such as Michaels, Hobby Lobby or JoAnn Fabrics. Zig
Have you tried gardening centers? I found them there when my craft and dollar stores were all sold out. I am a fan of Sunshine Crafts, they seem to have everything and at a reasonable prices especially for bulk.
Most of the ones in the books are made with the wooden pots, or at least the ones I have and they can be found at craft supplies companies. Hope that helps.
Walmart, Home depot (not tiny), 1" on line to Oriental traders
Try craft stores. Michaels has a large selection of terra cotta pots from tiny to huge. Pricing is very reasonable too.
Craft stores or the dollar store are probably the best bet. They also sell them at home improvement stores but I don't think they have smaller sizes. Amazon sells smaller pots but they would be more expensive, especially if you don't have a prime membership.
www.amazon.com/
I found really small ones for the arms at Walmart and Hobby Lobby had a size up for the legs.
Look for clay pots same thing. Lowes and them all different sizes. And very readable price
Amazon is great for buying Terra cotta pots in all sizes. Reasonable prices too. Give it a try. Thank you amazon!
Dollar General and Family Dollar do not carry them.
I make the clay pot people and I get most of my pots from Pat Catan's
In Florida there is a store called the Pottery Barn, they have all sizes and for a very reasonable price.
Menards has all sizes and the lowest prices
Amazon has varying pkgs og the small pots
But you have to keep in mind that the pots at the dollar trees is seasonal and they do not carry them in the store anymore. But you can order from online from them
Hobby lobby has them in three small sixes you can get the for 50%off most days.
Michael's has tiny one and Joann frabrics
Pottery Barn has lots and such a great price. Also Walmart on line has all kinds of sizes. Great price as well.
I went to a recycled furniture store that has everything for the house.
Dollar Tree
Old Time Pottery has a room full of different sizes so many they have a room for them selves.
Joann's fabrics does not have the plain Terra cotta pots, just pumpkin looking ones. I was disappointed when I went there looking for them. I found almart to be the cheapest so far
Wish I could obtain small 1.5 inch lots in england. I would buy bulk of I could.
Hobby Lobby every other week they are half off. They have the smaller ones too

I'm looking for the most cost efficient terra cotta pots available. The size and shape don't matter. Any thoughts?
