Editor's Note: This would be also good for burning wooden recipe boxes.
I am looking for small wooden ladders, 6-18 inches, and also miniature oak trees. If I cannot buy same does anyone have a creative way I could make same? I have searched Hobby Lobby and Michaels.

You could probably make some small wooden ladders with popsicle sticks and craft glue that you can purchase at a hobby store. For the trees collect some small branches and tie them together to look like trees.
You could try a pet store in the bird department and possibly locate a wood ladder or do an online dollhouse catalog search. If all else fails, you can always make one inexpensively from scrap wood and glue and small cutting tools.
Here's one dollhouse link for the oak tree and other items you can view.

Thank you all very much! Why didn't I think of a pet store ? Thank you, thank you, again.
Here are two more ideas for you: look for the accessories that are sold to go along with the ceramic villages (although you might not find them until Christmas time, unless you go to gift shops that carry Dept. 56, Lefton, etc.
Does anyone know if I put Deco foil on a wood box, could I seal it?
Thank you.
You could use a spray sealer, Rust-o-lium ,Krylon and others should do the trick!
You can use a stencil to draw the image on your wood. Then use some fabric glue to glue the area. Now take your deco foil that is cut the size of your image and lay it on the glue that is a bit tacky. Use a hair dryer that is set on high heat for 30 seconds to one minute.
Your question is not very clear as to exactly what you are wanting to do.
Seal a box? Deco foil is pretty expensive so if you are wanting 'seal' a complete box it would have to be small or the cost may be too high.
If you are talking about using deco foil to decorate a wooden box then there are numerous sites on YouTube that have good instructions and many, many sites to check out.
There are several ways to do this according to whether you will be doing graphics or lettering and the instructions are lengthy and that is why I suggested finding a site that looks like what you plan to do.
Where can I find free wood projects?
