This is basically a "dump" type salad in that all the ingredients are eventually mixed together.
Mix first 3 ingredients together well and chill. Cook rice until tender and cool. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add rice and crushed pineapple with juice. Drain fruit cocktail and add to rice/pineapple mixture. The first 3 combined ingredients can be mixed in last with the fresh fruit. Pour into bowl and let jell. The salad is topped with the whipped cream after it has started to jell

Recipe for Spring Jello Salad. Dissolve lemon Jello in boiling water. Cool until it starts to thicken; then add drained pineapple, bananas, and marshmallows.
In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Cool for 10 minutes. Stir in pie filling and pineapple until blended. Transfer to a 9x13 inch dish.
Combine reserved juice from canned fruit and measure. Add water, if necessary, to make 2 cups. In small bowl, soften unflavored gelatin in 1/2 cup of this fruit juice for 1-2 minutes.
Drain pears, reserving 1/2 cup syrup. Dice pears and set aside. In small pan, bring pear syrup to boiling. Add gelatin to pear juice and stir until completely dissolved.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Drain blueberries and pineapple, reserving 1 cup of juice (add water, if needed). Add juice to gelatin mixture. Stir in pineapple and blueberries.
Mix dry Jello, sour cream, cottage cheese and Cool Whip until well blended. Add drained fruit and chill. Can make 1/2 to 1 hour before serving.

This is a delicious fat-free dessert. It tastes very creamy. In food processor, combine 1/2 can drained peaches, cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar. Blend until smooth.
Mix dry Jello with cottage cheese until blended. Add all other ingredients. Chill for 2 hours.
Dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Add cold water (or pineapple liquid), lemon juice, and sour cream. Beat gently with egg beater until blended.
Melt 18 marshmallows in 1 cup water. Dissolve 1 package lime gelatin in it plus 1/2 cup hot water. Let set until slightly thickened.

Dissolve gelatin in water. Mix well and let get, just good and cold, not set. Add cream cheese and Dream Whip to cold gelatin and beat well. Add pecans and pineapple.
Bring water to boil, add sugar and pineapple. Add lemon Jello. Chill until partially set. Take out of refrigerator and stir in cheese, pecans, and Cool Whip. Refrigerate.
