This is my first time planting roses bushes and I've been pleasantly surprised at how well they are doing. What are some helpful tips to help keep them looking good?
My Confederate Rose in full evening bloom. It has a baby grasshopper on board.
This rose bush in my backyard has bloomed in orange for the past 5 years. This year it has added a bit more color, we have one branch with yellow blooms!
This rose begins with a light color with light pink coloration with darker pink outlines on the outer petals. As it matures, the coloration gets darker...
This is my first rose blossom of the season; it is a tea rose from Bellengrath Gardens in Alabama; it has such a beautiful fragrance that no perfume could "hold a candle" to it!
This beautiful perfume delight was grown in my own front yard this past summer.
My supermarket had many of these discounted to $1.99. I fell in love with this color and am hoping it will grow into a large bush.
My knockout roses are nestled under the fall leaves through the autumn and winter seasons. Once the spring foliage begins to appear in the yard, the rose bushes burst forth with greenery, rosebuds transform into the delicate rose blossoms filled with their color beaming with beauty.
This is the only rose on this bush right now. It is always fun to find a bargain at the $.99 store, even if they have taken the name tags off. This is not a miniature rose bush, but it is smaller than most.
Happy to say the rain we've had in Moorpark has been helpful this year. As promised, here are more pictures of the roses in our yard.
