Heat the oil in a skillet, 5 minutes each side. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix together the remaining ingredients and pour over the steaks. Simmer, covered, until the the steaks are done, and the sauce is slightly thickened. Sprinkle with the almonds and serve.
