I love deep frying or baking my own tortilla chips made from corn tortilla's rather than store bought pre-made chips ;-)
Place cheese and salsa in a saucepan over medium low heat. Stir constantly until cheese is melted, transfer to a bowl and serve. Or you can place in a microwave safe bowl on high in one minute increments, stirring after each minute, until cheese is melted and serve.

Heat olive oil in a skillet and saute' the onion until tender. Add the tomatoes and jalapeno pepper.
Saute' onions in oil. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 1 1/2-2 hours. Serve with corn chips.
Saute' onion in margarine in skillet. Add garlic powder, Tabasco and taco sauce, mixing well.
