How do you repair a rather substantial nick in a Corian countertop?

It will have to be done professionally. Call the vendor that you bought it from. If you don't know who the vendor was, pick any Corian vendor out of the yellow pages. If they don't do repairs, they will be able to direct you to someone who does.
