Where can I found a switch for Pfaff 1222E? It seem to be discontinued.
Sometimes the sewing machine companies have parts that will work on several models but very often you have to have the exact piece for your machine so be very careful when placing an order to make sure it will fit the exact model of your machine.
I'm not sure if there is a difference in parts for the Phaff 1222 and Phaff 1222E but check it out before ordering.
You can probably call any of these sites and know within minutes if they have the correct part and price.

I have a Pfaff 130 and articulating lamp. I am missing the screws that hold the bakelite shade to the base. Where can I buy some?
I do not know if you tried the Pfaff website or if you contacted a local Pfaff dealer:
I can almost guarantee that if you ask your question on this website someone will have them or know where to get them.
I believe your machine was made in 1932 so you may also be able to get help from this group but you will have to join. You can join the free membership by following instructions on this page.
Here is another good forum to check out.
Most likely you will only find the genuine screw by someone on one of these sites helping you.

I asked this before, but still don't have the answer I need. I need to find the switch for my sewing machine Pfaff 1222E. I would buy the whole plugging module in order to get my switch, or a cheap machine for parts as long the switch is recoverable.
You need to buy Switch Pfaff #70-112000-02, it fits 1222E (and for 1196, 1197, 1209, 1211, 1212, 1213, 1214, 1216, 1217, 1221, 1221, 1222, 1222SE, 1229).
I have a PFAFF creative 7570. It was working fine and then the screen stopped working. Any idea what could be causing this and how I can fix it?
Thank you.
I have an automatic sewing machine Pfaff 260. Where can I find a Zick-Zack?
If this part is not there, how can I repair the one that is there?
The Pfaff 260 was first made in 1960. Pfaff were so proud of the 260 model, it had 80 automatic stitches and was super heavy industrial strength, it was advertised with a warranty of 10 years. Belt driven by string, in fact 10 strands clamped together with over 100 metal cleats. Later it was superseded by the 262, 360 then 368 models.

I have a Pfaff 2140 that has screen issues. When I plug the machine in and power it on the screen will not display anything and will have a rhythmic ticking noise along with a slight flash from screen. I had done some online searching and found that it could be a capacitor issue, upon finding and replacing what I believed to be the bad capacitor I am still having this issue.
If anyone has answers or has fixed this issue before I'd greatly appreciate the help.If the machine still has an issue it could be due to the motherboard not working correctly. Capacitor issues can cause problems with the motherboard or even the monitor display.
I have a Pfaff Quilt Expression 4.0. Just last night it stopped working - the fabric wouldn't feed through and the bobbin thread wasn't catching. After some investigation it appears that the upper thread is getting caught on this little metal arm that is called an "upper thread fetcher". Anyone know why? Or how I can fix it?
It seems to otherwise be running normally. When I begin sewing it does grab the bobbin thread, but because the upper thread is catching on this thing it can't advance or feed through and the bobbin thread doesn't come up at all.
The sewing machine isn't able to make any stitches. The needle goes in the fabric, the upper thread goes around the bobbin wheel and gets stuck. I have to cut the thread away from the fabric in order to release it and then remove the bottom plate in order to get to the thread at all.Can anyone instruct me on how to get to the motor on the Pfaff Tiptronic 1171 sewing machine so I can replace the carbon brushes?
Thanks.
I think it's the foot pedal, but the local repair service says it's not worth repairing and they won't take it apart. I don't know what to do since they are rather pricey to replace.
I believe you need to establish that it is indeed the foot petal that is causing the problem before you invest in a new petal.
I began sewing this morning when it seemed the needle would not lift and was in the bobbin casing. I checked for jammed thread/material, etc. nothing.
You may have a jammed or broken gear. Try taking off the outer cover and oiling the inside. If that doesnt work you should bring it in for servicing.
A lot of times when this happens the needle gets bent and that is why it got stuck in the first place. You could also have an issue with the way the bobbin is inside the machine or there is something blocking this. By using a screwdriver it is possible to remove the plate under the needle to see if you can clean out the blockage and get it to move again.
