These are diaper pins to wear at a baby shower. Every guest gets one. One diaper has a sticker inside labeled "dirty". I put a larger pin on that one so I know it gets handed out. Whoever gets that diaper (everyone opens theirs up to check for the sticker) gets the door prize. Or you can use them as a game. Whenever someone crosses their legs or says a prearranged name (such as the guest of honors name), the person who catches them gets their pin. At the end, whoever has the most pins wins a prize. You could also attach them to a stick-on label and use as name tags for each guest.
Approximate Time: 2 hours to make 40 pins.

I need some ideas for games for a baby shower. Thanks in advance.

It's been 20+ years, but I still remember one game from a friend's baby shower: helpers pinned a variety of items to the expectant mother. (They used things like rattles, teething rings, cloth diapers, etc.) Then she walked out among the guests, "modeling" her array of items before leaving the room again. The guests were to remember and write down what she'd had pinned on. The one who remembered the most won a small prize.
A more recent baby shower I attended played "Baby Hill (the parents' last name) Bingo." The hostess made up simple bingo cards using the phrase "Baby Hill." The columns included simple drawings of baby-related items (again, rattles, teething rings, bottles, etc.) I think Cheerios were used to mark the squares as the caller spoke them.
Another good game that plays throughout the shower, give everyone a clothespin or a baby pin. The guests are told that they are not allowed to say the word "baby", if they do, the person that catches them gets their pin/necklace, whatever you use. The one with the most pins near the end of the shower gets a prize.
Does anyone have any ideas for games and themes for a Co-Ed baby shower?

Tape the Name on the Belly Button (name on paper, tape on back, eyes covered, go for it!)
Guess the Waist Size (skein of yarn, cut length with scissors, hope it'll fit around mommy's waist without overlapping!)
Don't Say the Name (everyone gets a pin--safety, or such--whenever someone says the mommy or daddy-to-be's name, or the word "baby", whoever hears it first gets the name-sayer's pin)
Baby Name Game (using all the letters of the mom's and dad's names, list as many baby names as you can...be the fastest)
Thank you, Megan, for your ideas!
We also did the 'don't say the name' game, but made little necklaces out of ribbon, and put plastic baby items, like pacifiers, bottles, etc on them. You can get some different baby foods and have people guess which they are by either just looking at them, or tasting them!
Put pieces of different candy bars in a diaper, squish it a little, and have people try to figure out which candy bar it is. Really looks like poop, too, for that fun added element! :)
Put items in paper lunch bags, tape them closed, and have everyone try to guess what it is by just feeling it. Of course, you would want all the items to be baby related in some way; bottle brush, pacifier, thermometer, nail clippers, nose squeezie thingy (!?), etc.
Have everyone try to come up with words having to do with babies, using all the letters of the alphabet. It's harder than it sounds! Have a time limit. Have fun!
The guys could have a diapering race, using dolls and paper diapers.
Any ideas for Scrabble themed baby shower games? The new mom to be is an avid Scrabble fan.

Some ideas to consider:
Cover tables with white paper on which you have drawn a scrabble board of blank squares. Provide guests with a list of baby related words, and have tables compete to see who can fit all the words into the squares first. Have small prizes for the wiinning table.
If you can get enough Scrabble games, use them as centerpieces for tables, scattering tiles over the board with a vase of flowers on it. Instead of clothespins or safety pins, give each guest 5 Scrabble tiles in a baggie to be used in the cross your ankles/knees game, with the winner being the one with the most tiles.
Have a sheet cake with the parents' names and congratulations on it Scrabble board style.
If sending paper invitations, use blank cards and create a Scrabble style invite.
There is a website called babbee.com with a lot of helpful information about giving baby showers. Hope this is helpful.
If you can get some extra Scrabble tiles (from old games or the manufacturer of the game), try creating a baby-themed Scrabble game.
Another alternative is to create a themed puzzle of your own. You can create a puzzle at Eclipse Crossword.
Buy ten different types of baby food and peel the labels of the jars. Mark each jar from 1 to 10 with a marker. Allow guests to examine and smell the contents of the jar.
Present each guest with a bowl full of safety pins. Set a stopwatch for one minute and yell, "Go!" The woman who can make the longest chain of safety pins in two minutes wins!
The "joke" behind this game is that the Dad is not the real dad. Cut out pictures of movie stars and rock stars and tape them to some corkboard. Then have the mother choose which celebrity she would have most rather had father her child. The guests are then provided with darts to throw at the celebrity fathers.
Get a ton of baby socks - like twenty pairs or more! Separate them and scatter them in the center of the floor. The guest who can match up the most socks and bundle them within a set time limit (3 minutes is good) wins a prize. Of course after the game is over mom can keep the socks!
It is probably the easiest to just buy pre-made Baby Bingo cards online. There are tons of sites that sell these prefabricated games and many sites, such as babhyshowergamesatoz.com allow you to buy different variations of this.
Here is an idea for a fun baby shower game. Take 10 plain white lunch bags and put a decorative "B" on one "A" on another "B" on another until you spell out "baby shower".
