Some great ideas here I never would have thought of. I like the idea of putting them in dresser drawers before using them in the dryer.
I have been told that dryer sheets contain ingredients that are harmful to the air we breathe and would be harmful to have extended contact with our skin. Read the ingredient list and see what is in your dryer sheets. Too many chemicals for me.
I too believe in recycling. I used my dryer sheets making snowman ornaments for my christmas tree this year.
For those of us with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, any kind of dryer sheet is something to stay miles away from. They are very toxic to everyone!
I reuse dryer sheets to polish my bathroom faucets. I also have heard of reusing them instead of paper for paper piecing. You can keep them in the quilt afterward & saves time.
