In May, the kids, my aunt and I went to the Pittsburgh Zoo. The Polar Bear wouldn't go in the water and just kept pacing back and forth. I managed to get a good shot of him looking at us.

Unfortunately, this photo is not taken in the wild, but aren't these flamingos beautiful? In the UK, we have few really colourful birds so it is a privilege and a delight to see these elegant creatures, even though they are in a zoo.

These 3 pics are taken from the Detroit Zoo Polar Bear Exhibit. It is a glass tunnel you walk underneath. They were feeding the bears fish at the time we went.
