This is a fast, easy, yummy cookie recipe for Halloween!
Ingredients:
1 (18oz) pkg. carrot cake mix with pudding
1 cup canned pumpkin

1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
1 egg
1 (16oz) can cream cheese ready-to-spread frosting
36 candy pumpkins
Directions:
In large bowl, combine cake mix, pumpkin, margarine, and egg; stir until well combined. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes, or until puffed and set in center. Cool 2 min; remove from cookie sheets. Cool 15 minutes or until completely cooled. Frost cooled cookies. Press 1 candy pumpkin onto each cookie. Makes 3 dozen

Cream pumpkin, shortening, and sugar , then add raisins or dates, vanilla and nuts and mix well. Sift flour, soda, baking powder and cinnamon and add to other mixture.
