My husband, 2 year-old, and I live in Massachusetts, and the rest of my family is in Maine, so we do a fair amount of traveling back and forth. Rather than carrying whole pill bottles, I use plastic Gerber baby food containers with lids and put enough pills to last the time that we are there (and usually a few days extra in case we are stuck due to snow in the winter). I mark the containers with a marker to avoid confusion.
I had a bunch of these left from "baby days" so it's a good way to use them. They are also great for jewelry, elastic bands, and tacks.

My daughter has been saving plastic baby food containers for me. I volunteer at a crisis nursery and I would like to have a craft project for preschool children with which I can use these containers. Anyone out there with ideas?
Our baby grandson just began eating solid foods and I am now saving the handy Gerber oblong plastic containers and snap lids for neat little storage tubs.
If you have a baby in the home, keep the plastic Gerber food containers and use them to organize your home.
Baby food now comes in plastic rectangular containers. These make great little reusable containers to pack in lunches!
I have tons of the new babyfood plastic containers with covers on hand. Can anyone think of something I could do with them. Anything crafty? My hubby wants to use them for his screws and such. Any other suggestions would be great. I would love to do something crafty with them.
