This is great with a meal or alone for breakfast.

Ingredients:

3 eggs, beaten
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

1 cup cut dates
1 large Hershey chocolate bar (plain)
1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained

Directions:

Beat all ingredients together thoroughly. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees F in loaf pan.

Servings: 8-12

Prep Time: 15-20 Minutes

Cooking Time: 90 Minutes

All nuts and fruits should be whole. Line bread pans with wax paper and bake at 300 degrees F for about an hour. Cover with heavy brown paper until bread has risen.
