Tiny and singular when purchased, it immediately thrived after transplant and a smidgen of verbal reaffirming of the impending beauty it would blossom to be. It does well among the basic lilies and has hollyhock friends just across to contrast in color and height for a truly fragrant and colorful greeting to guests.

Summer is here and one of the mysteries of the ages, at least to me, is why and how those pesky gnats come up out of my drains and potted plants and drive me bonkers. I place a small bowl of ACV and a squirt of liquid soap onto my kitchen and bathroom counters and also the window sill in my master bedroom bathroom where I have some potted plants. The gnats are attracted by the ACV. Problem solved.
Iced Feeder for the Hummingbirds

Here are my step by step instructions on how to make a plant terrarium with no drainage. Plant terrariums with no drainage require little maintenance - you only need to water every 2 to 3 weeks, or when needed.

Hang Jars of Cut Flowers in Your Garden for Color
By ~gloria
This is an idea for an easy way to add color and interest to your garden. Hang jars of water around the garden in places where there's mainly just foliage. I use wire around the rim of the jar and then secure to tree branch, fence post, wherever.
