I bought a lovely comforter online at a discount. When I opened the package, I saw that there was nothing holding the batting in place and that an edge of it had already crumpled up in such a way that I couldn't fix it without tearing the fabric apart. I put it back in it's bag, planning to salvage it later.

I use makeup pencils for eyebrows, eye liner, and lip liner. I started putting the pencils and the sharpeners in the freezer for an hour or two before sharpening, and they will harden just enough to make it easy to do without breaking.
