Making a Gnat Trap - finished trapI think most everyone in our area are experiencing a problem with gnats in the house. They are terrible this year. I have two gnat traps that I use to catch them. They go right to it and it keeps the population of those pesky gnats down. I empty the trap weekly and start all over.

Organizing Socks for the Family

Organizing socks with an over the door shoe organizer.Instead of using those plastic over-the-door shoe organizers for shoes, I use mine to organize our socks! After taking the socks out of the dryer, I just roll them up and place a pair in each pocket of the shoe organizer (I do this with pantyhose and knee-highs too).

Plastic Dish Pans for Laundry

Laundry tubs for organizing clean laundry.I use a small plastic 3-tier shelf lined with plastic dishpans to separate clean laundry. Each dishpan is labeled with each person's name and one labeled "upstairs." 2 of my kids are old enough to put up their laundry.

A plastic bag hanging on a walker with shower curtain hooks.My mom was having a hard time using her walker and trying to clean up the house. Using shower hooks, I hooked a bag on there so she could pick things up on her way through the house. Then she can sit down to sort it all out.
