Peekaboo Annie (Domestic Shorthair)
By Donna
When my daughter comes home to visit she gets lots of love and attention from our cat Annie. This time when she prepared to go home she found Annie stowed away and waiting for her inside her backpack. We all laughed! We all just thought she was so adorable I had to share this!
Daisy (Yorkie/Poodle/Chihuahua)
By Kawaii
I got her from my auntie and it was a few weeks after my birthday.
Pick Up Leftover Outside Pet Food
By likekinds
I have a neighbor who was country born and country bred. His cat is never allowed in the house. He feeds the cat outside, near his back door. I don't think he realizes that the food the cat leaves behind attracts flies, mice, rats, and other pests, including possums.
Using Stainless Steel Pet Bowls
By R Barbara
Consider using stainless steel bowls for you pet's food and water. There are several advantages to this type of bowl. Stainless steel is just that, it will not corrode or tarnish. It also does not absorb odors as a plastic bowl can. It will not break.
Protecting Furniture Under a Fish Tank
By lalala...
We have a few small fish tanks at our house. I have them sitting on top of wooden furniture, so I needed to find a way to protect the wood from any splashes or dribbles that might happen.
Alleviate Your Dog's Fear Of Rain
By Robyn
I have had a lot of success with my Catahoula/Rottie doggie, Bruno, by teaching him what the noise outside was when the rain hit the ground. I will say in a rather clipped voice, "rain" and then praise after three seconds.

I wanted to add a cat shelf to our kitchen window since we live next to the park. My husband used a regular shelf that he had and "L" brackets for support. You can buy this kind of shelf at a store like Home Depot or Lowes and they are very inexpensive.
Solar and Battery Lights Inside and Outside
By Vi Johnson
Our dog Buddy was blinded in one eye, so we try to keep the floor lighted enough for him to find his way around easier. They also help us to see him, if we have to get up during the night. We bought small LED lights at the $.99 store.
Make a Fleece Tug-of-War Dog Toy
By Kathy
Many of my friends and family own dogs, so when I decided last year I wanted to give all my canine 'friends' presents, I needed to find something fairly inexpensive to make.
