The Girls are Ganging Up
I think my two cats, Annie and Fuzzy have taught our pet chicken some bad habits. They regularly peek into the window and when I looked out the window today I see little Chicken Little has learned the trick too! We all had a good laugh!
ZigZag (Miniature Schnauzer)
ZigZag was given to us 3 1/2 years ago. His mother stepped on his leg when he was just a puppy so the breeder couldn't sell him due to his bumleg. He is a great dog.
She is a rescue. Cookie likes to be near me all the time. Bless her heart, she follows me around the house. I know her little legs get tired.
In Memory of Happy (Yorkshire Terrier)
I bought him from a person who had a beautiful litter of puppies. I got him when my children were young for a family pet. His favourite things were snacks, going on road trips with his grandfather, and taking naps.
Sammy (Mini Dachshund)
I got him from a friend 6 months ago. He is a sweetie, a little hard headed at times, and really very very smart.
Clara (Orange Tabby)
I adopted her from the SPCA when she was a kitten. My husband and I went to the shelter to get a cat we had seen on the website. When we got there a little girl was adopting that cat. Clara instantly was snuggling on me and licking me so I got her!
Savage (Razor Edge Pit Bull Terrier)
Savage was in another home from which we adopted one of her puppies. We noticed when we chose our puppy that being the Momma dog, she was not in the best shape or condition. Having just given birth to 6 puppies she needed a lot of nutrients and attention which she was not getting from that owner.
New Himalayan Puppies
I went to meet my grandparents, who live in Manali, which is a town in the Himalayas. Their dog give birth to these fuzzy puppers about 3 weeks ago. They haven't been named yet.
Watcha doin? (Fuzzy)
Unexpected Best Friends (Nala and Gwen)
Nala has been with us for over 8 years and Gwen for 3 1/2 years. They both love playing with us and cuddling with us and the rest of our fur family. Gwen loves alerting us to noises, and giving kisses and hugs. (None of them are much into toys as they prefer human interaction.)
Pepper (Timneh African Grey)
I got this bird on Craigslist from a lady who was opening up a daycare in her house and could not have little Pepper anymore. Although she does not say a word she does plenty of sound effects.
Annie - A Closer Look Kitty
This is my Annie...she thinks she is my guardian and caretaker! She follows me everywhere and is vigilant about keeping an eye on me so I really had to laugh when I realized that she was checking me out in my phones reflection! Ha! I just thought that she was pretty clever (and discrete about her surveillance!)
Coco (Siamese Shorthair)
Some friends of ours asked if we would like some Siamese kittens and I said I'd have to ask my husband since he's not really a cat person, but he agreed to go look at them. There were two available; a brother and sister. He held the little boy and fell in love! He is the one who picked Coco!
Scarlett Ann Duvall Cotton (West Highland Terrier)
A friend could not give her the attention she needed so he gave her to us in Feb 2010. She loves to chase anything she can find to chase.
Nhiu (Siamese Mix)
He is a quarter of Siamese descent from his paternal grandma named Iu (she is now a 3-year-old cat in my house as seen in the photo).
